Doug Newhard, Director of Product Development
Doug Newhard is the Manager of Product Development at Bay Bridge Decision Technologies, and is responsible for the development and maintenance of Bay Bridge's applications.
Doug is expert in field of applied simulation and optimization modeling, database design, and application programming.
Prior to joining Bay Bridge, Doug developed simulation models to aid in the layout of distribution centers and optimization-based systems to improve the efficiency of packaging and shipping for QVC.
Before QVC, Doug developed inbound call center and outbound collections simulation and optimization systems for Partners First, greatly improving collections efforts by targeting contacts to those accounts most likely to respond to a collections program.
Doug was also an analyst with FirstUSA, developing decision support systems to improve collections agent scheduling and outbound dialer efficiency.
Doug received a bachelors degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering at Virginia Polytechnic and State University (Magna Cum Laude).
